Vision Statement
Briscoe Mentoring Group (BMG) will serve as a mediator by providing communication and support for the academic and professional interest of students that demonstrate difficulty meeting their goals.
Mission Statement
Briscoe Mediation Group will operate as a support agent by mentoring students that receive special educational and or demonstrates difficulty transitioning in a formal educational setting. In addition, BMG will mentor students' academic goals, monitor progress, and support transition to elevate higher levels of classroom success.
Company History
Briscoe Mediation Group is a new non-profit agency that is interested in closing the gap on classroom readiness from elementary, middle, and even high school students that are entering each grade level not academically or socially prepared to meet the rigor formal education requires. This concept of professional mentoring came into existence in 2007 as Joseph Briscoe and several other educators agreed that the classroom is not enough to address the whole student of this generation as well as meet their academic and social needs. Professionals with life and field experience that can co-labor with the community (i.e. student, teacher, administration, and the parent) to implement relationships that benefit the student; thus, stimulating their thinking and ability to meet their goals.
